Google Play Store is an app for Android phones that can be used to download various apps, games, songs, videos, books and even magazine articles. Many phones already have this app installed.   1. Getting access to the app

 


For this, you will first have to make sure that you own a Google account. If you do not own one, you can easily create one by clicking on the “sign in” option directly through your device. After this, you will be required to go to the app icon which appears in the lower right corner of the screen. The icon appears as a white suitcase with a multicolored triangle on it. After this, you will be required to sign up using your Google account. If you have multiple accounts, you can choose the most preferable one by scrolling through the username. The transactions between different accounts can be transferred amongst one another, hence, managing multiple accounts should not be a problem.

To download any item from the Google Play Store, you will first be required to open the app store from your device’s menu. Then you can browse through the category of the items you would like to download. The two main categories are ‘apps and games’ and ‘entertainment’. Here, you can have access to a variety of items including movies, music, books, newspapers and magazines. The app is great for anyone who loves to stream music. If it is the movies that you are looking for, you can either buy or borrow them. Same goes for books, magazines and newspapers. You can read the online and also save them for offline reading.

You can use the search bar on the top of the page to browse for any item of your preference. By clicking on any particular item, you will be taken straight to the information page where you can read the product information in detail and also check the reviews. If you are interested in the item, you can click on the install option. This will download the app into your phone. When the download is complete, you can have them installed. You can also update and uninstall the app anytime you want. Google Play Store also allows you to manage your existing apps. So if you are running out of space, you can always browse through all the downloaded apps which are listed together and deleted an unwanted one while saving a back up for it.

Everything item in the Google PlayStore does not come for free. Hence, you will have to choose a payment option for purchasing them. You can click on the icon with three horizontal bars to scroll down to account and then add a payment method of your choice. You can also edit and remove your existing payment methods anytime you want. Before making any purchase, you will be required to go through an authentication process which will save you from making any unwanted and accidental purchases.
